vmware tools in linux mint 15

Vmware Tools on linux mint 15 (olivia)

In tutorial we are going to install VMware Tools on linux mint 15 step by step

Firstly it is best to update linux mint 15 and install the header of the deposit.

apt-get update

sudo apt-get install build-essential
sudo apt-get install linux-headers-`uname -r`
sudo apt-get install xinetd

Download  VMware Tools directly  VMware player ou VMware Workstation.

vmware : player/manage/install(réinstalle) vmware tool

Extract   folder « vmware-tools-distrib » in  tmp

Extraction ………..

VMware Tools: Installation 

   go to the  folder tmp with terminal:

cd /tmp/vmware-tools-distrib

Installation :

sudo ./vmware-install.pl

Click request  « enter » to continue the installation.

Installation ended
